Level 2 Biology
This course covers four aspects of Biology: investigating eco-systems and biodiversity; biotechnology and resource management; cell biology, genetics and evolution; plant and animal form and function.
Assessment External Achievement Standards will be assessed in an end of year exam. Internal Achievement Standards and
Pre-requisites 12 credits in Science; 8 credits in English and Mathematics.
Leads on to NCEA Level 3 Biology (3BIO)
