Level 2 Biology

 

This course covers four aspects of Biology: investigating eco-systems and biodiversity; biotechnology and resource management; cell biology, genetics and evolution; plant and animal form and function.

 

Assessment                       External Achievement Standards will be assessed in an end of year exam.  Internal Achievement Standards and Unit Standards that support the externals will be assessed through the year.

 

Pre-requisites                  12 credits in Science; 8 credits in English and Mathematics. 

Leads on to                      NCEA Level 3 Biology (3BIO)
